This week’s show opened with footage from last week, when Tony D’Angelo defeated Naraku in a Street Fight to retain the NXT Championship. The video also showed Cruz Santana confronting him afterward.

Grayson Waller’s music hit, and he made his way to the ring. Greeted by loud boos from the Orlando crowd, Waller looked back on his NXT debut and the night he broke his leg. He said that although he is now on the main roster, he still has unfinished business in NXT, including winning the NXT Championship.

Waller said he was willing to go after Tony D’Angelo’s title and made it clear that Cruz Santana did not intimidate him or stand in his way. A production crew member interrupted Waller and told him his time was up because the show had to continue.

An angry Waller then turned his attention to the men’s locker room. He called the roster weak and said not even 10% of it was ready to become a major star. The crew member returned and took the microphone away from him, ending the segment.

Backstage, Tavion Heights and Myles Borne discussed Waller’s promo. Mason Rook walked in and criticized Waller’s comments while also making it clear that he wanted to beat Kam Hendrix later that night. Borne was concerned about his title match later in the show, but Heights reassured him that he would not allow any interference.

Singles Match: Lizzy Rain vs. Izzi Dame
– Rain hit Thunderstruck on Dame and scored the pinfall.

Backstage, Romeo Moreno and Noam Dar welcomed Cruz Montana. Saquon Shugars arrived and thanked Moreno and Dar for helping him against DarkState last week. Shugars made it clear that he and Montana still had unfinished business, but said he needed to settle his remaining issues with DarkState first.

Kelani Jordan approached Montana and advised him not to sign an NXT contract, saying people like them do not get the opportunities they deserve.

The Vanity Project was complaining to Robert Stone in his office when Keanu Carver walked in, sending the trio running. Carver asked for a match against EK Prosper next week, and Stone granted his request. After Carver left, Stone spoke to Waller by phone and ordered him to return to the arena immediately.

A video package aired featuring Lola Vice, who said she would become NXT Women’s Champion next week.

Backstage, Jaida Parker thanked Thea Hail for helping her last week. Hail told Parker that Robert Stone had booked them in a Tag Team Match against Nattie’s team next week. Parker agreed to be Hail’s partner.

NXT North American Championship Match: Myles Borne (c) vs. Kam Hendrix
– Borne hit Hendrix with the Borne Again and scored the pinfall.

After the match, Mason Rook appeared with Hendrix in his sights, and Tavion Heights gave him the green light to attack. The Vanity Project then launched a surprise assault on Borne and Heights. Despite being outnumbered, Borne and Heights fought back and cleared the trio from the ring.

Backstage, Lizzy Rain was asked about her next move in NXT. For now, she said she was hungry and that KFC looked like her next stop. Tristain Angels approached Rain and told her she needed a better influence than Shiloh Hill.

In the men’s locker room, Berto and Garza showed up to support their Perros del Mal partner Bronco Nima ahead of the next match.

In Robert Stone’s office, Zaria asked who would challenge her next for the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Wren Sinclair stepped in and suggested herself. Stone then announced that Sinclair will defend the WWE Women’s Speed Championship against Zaria next week. If Sinclair wins, she will earn a shot at the NXT Women’s North American Championship.

Tag Team Match: OTM (Bronco Nima & Lucien Price) vs. BirthRight (Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Uriah Connors)
– After Berto and Garza distracted Nima, he was unable to stop Lorenzo and Connors from hitting Price with the Price 2-On-One and scoring the pinfall.

Despite the loss, Price acknowledged Nima and accepted his apology. However, he remained hesitant about joining forces with Berto and Garza.

A video aired of Kendal Grey training for next week’s NXT Underground Match against Lola Vice, with the NXT Championship on the line. Julius Creed was helping Grey prepare for the match.

Backstage, Kali Armstrong said she should be the one to face Kendal Grey next week. Izzi Dame told Armstrong that she had just arrived in NXT and needed to wait her turn. Kelani Jordan then said she was next in line, but Reina Volcan unexpectedly joined the conversation and said the women’s division was crying out for change.

Singles Match: Shiloh Hill vs. Tristain Angels
– Hill hit Angels with a Super Thunder Breaker for the win.

Cruz Montana’s music hit, and he made his way to the ring through the crowd. After taking a microphone, Montana reflected on his difficult past and said he grew up on some of the toughest streets in New York. He said he was proud of how far he had come and of becoming a WWE Superstar. Montana thanked TNA for everything the company had done for him, but said his only goal moving forward was to win the NXT Championship. He added that Grayson Waller had done plenty of talking earlier in the show and that he planned to tell Waller to his face what he wanted in WWE. Tony D’Angelo’s music then hit.

The NXT Champion came to the ring to a strong ovation. D’Angelo said he had seen guys like Montana come through before, all claiming they would change NXT, but he was still on top. He also reminded Montana and Waller that he was still the champion. Montana replied that he would beat D’Angelo if it came down to it.

At that point, Waller appeared and attacked Montana from behind. D’Angelo and Waller began trading punches. Montana recovered and tried to hit Waller with a clothesline, but accidentally caught D’Angelo instead. Waller then escaped from the ring.

The show ended with D’Angelo and Montana standing face-to-face in the center of the ring as Waller watched from the entrance ramp.

End of show.
