This week’s show opens with The Culling mocking Lizzy Rain at the Gorilla Position over Shawn Spears’ absence from tonight’s match, reminding her that they warned her Spears couldn’t be trusted to keep his word.
Tag Team Match: The Culling (Niko Vance & Izzi Dame) vs. EK Prosper & Lizzy Rain
– Prosper hits Vance with a Moonsault, followed by the pinfall.
We see a video from last week, with Myles Borne and Tavion Heights celebrating last week’s victory, when they captured the NXT Tag Team Championship.
In the medical room, Kendal Grey is informed that due to her physical condition following her match against Lola Vice last Tuesday, she will not be cleared to compete again until next week. Alongside Wren Sinclair, she heads to the ring.
Kali Armstrong interrupts a backstage interview with EK Prosper and Lizzy Rain, taking the microphone and heading to the ring.
Once there, Armstrong says the time has come for her to get her shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. Kelani Jordan comes out, saying it’s her turn now. Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair also come out. After a heated argument, Jordan announces that she has a contract for a title match, choosing NXT Heatwave to face Grey. Armstrong loses it and punches the champion, sparking a huge brawl. The segment ends with Armstrong and Jordan standing tall over Grey and Sinclair.
Backstage, Cruz Montana thanks Robert Stone for the opportunity he’s getting tonight. Keanu Carver appears and wishes Montana good luck, surprising Stone, who congratulates Carver on his clean win over EK Prosper last week.
Singles Match: Dion Lennox w/ DarkState (Osiris Griffin & Cutler James) vs. Saquon Shugars
– Lennox hits Shugars with a Spinning Slam, followed by the pinfall.
After the match, DarkState destroys Shugars.
Backstage, during a phone call with Rey Mysterio, Robert Stone names La Parka and EK Prosper as two of the four participants in the upcoming #1 Contender’s Match for the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship.
In the medical room, Grayson Waller encourages Saquon Shugars to get revenge on DarkState for the attack he suffered moments ago. Shugars grabs a baseball bat and a chair and storms out of the medical room.
NXT Women’s North American Championship Match: Zaria (c) vs. Women’s Speed Champion Wren Sinclair
– Zaria hits Sinclair with a F5, followed by the pinfall.
We see a video from Shiloh Hill on his official Instagram account, where he says he is recovering from his recent injury.
Singles Match: Mason Rook vs. Kam Hendrix
– Hendrix hits Rook with a Big Boot, followed by the pinfall.
Backstage, Robert Stone informs The Vanity Project that if Jackson Drake defeats Shiloh Hill next week, he will earn an NXT North American Championship match against Myles Borne. In addition, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes will get their rematch against Borne and Tavion Heights for the NXT Tag Team Championship. Both matches will take place at NXT Heatwave.
Singles Match: Lexis King w/ BirthRight (Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, and Arianna Grace) vs. Lucien Price
– Price hits King with a Chokeslam, followed by the pinfall.
