Add as a preferred source on Google Gunther received a special message ahead of WWE Clash in Italy, where he will challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
During an interview with Netflix Italia, “The Ring General” was surprised by Roberto Baggio, one of the biggest legends in Italian soccer history. Baggio mentioned the photos of Gunther training in his jersey and wished him luck.
“Hi Gunther, it’s Roby. I saw the pictures of you wearing my jersey during training. Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I hope all of this brings you good luck for Clash In Italy, and of course for your life in general. Big hug, see you soon, ciao!”
After watching the video, Gunther immediately asked for Baggio to be invited to the event.
“Invite him to the event, I’ve got to talk to our people here.”
WWE Clash in Italy will take place on Sunday, May 31, at Inalpi Arena in Turin.
