WWE already has much of its creative plans in place for WrestleMania 43, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027.
Speaking on the Varsity podcast, WWE President Nick Khan said the company is already well underway on the creative side of the event, though potential injuries could still force changes.
“Yes. It’s never been outside of the US or Canada. It’s going to be in Riyadh (and) it’s going to be a significant show. We’re already across the creative, of course, that’s, you know, subject to any injury. We’re already across the creative.”
Despite the comments, Khan did not reveal which matches, rivalries or wrestlers are part of WWE’s current plans for WrestleMania 43.
Khan also detailed how WWE plans to keep activity going in the United States during the event’s two nights. There will be watch parties at the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City, followed by NXT and AAA shows.
“And in addition to that, we announced two shows from the MSG Theater. WrestleMania Saturday, we’ll have a watch-along party followed by either NXT or AAA, and the next day, MSG Theater, a watch-along party followed by either NXT or AAA, whichever one didn’t go on the Saturday night.”
Khan added that the approach won’t be limited to New York, with additional watch parties planned across the United States and in other countries.
“So we’re also gonna do viewing parties and all of these things from the US and other countries. And we think, you know, ultimately the fans will go home happy.”
WrestleMania 43 was officially announced for Riyadh in September 2025. It will be the first time in the event’s history that it’s held outside North America, extending the WWE-Saudi Arabia partnership that began in 2018.
In July 2026, WWE confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will take place in April 2027 and follow the two-night format.
