The Young Bucks admitted that AEW All In: London may have been one of the last times the Elite shared a stadium moment together.
Matt and Nick Jackson were in Kenny Omega’s corner Sunday at Wembley Stadium. Brandon Cutler and Michael Nakazawa also accompanied the then-AEW World Champion for his match against Will Ospreay.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Undisputed, Matt Jackson said the group made a point of soaking in the moment, knowing opportunities like it may not come around again.
“We all realized it could be one of the final times we are all in a big stadium where we are all together in front of a camera, so we knew what was at stake. We encouraged Kenny and told him he’s the best stadium wrestler in the world and that this entire house came to see him and Will. We pumped him up pretty good.”
Earlier on the card, the Young Bucks lost to Adam Copeland and Christian Cage in an AEW World Tag Team Championship match.
Omega reportedly made a last-minute request to have Cutler at ringside. Matt said he and Nick had been invited a few days earlier and were emotional about it, having been there for several of the biggest matches of Omega’s career.
In the main event, Ospreay defeated Omega with the Hidden Blade to win the AEW World Championship for the first time.
