Rey Mysterio, El Grande Americano and Andrea Bazarte are shown arriving at the venue.
Rey Mysterio opens the show and calls Andrea to the ring. The General Manager apologizes for the way she left the company and offers her a new contract with a pay raise as compensation. Bazarte accepts the offer, much to the crowd’s delight.
Mysterio then turns his attention to the AAA Latin American Championship, which is vacant following Hijo del Vikingo’s injury. Mysterio announces that a new champion will be crowned in a Fatal 4-Way Match at Verano de Escándalo. The participants will be determined through the following qualifiers: La Parka vs. Mecha Wolf vs. Dragon Lee, El Fiscal vs. Cruz Del Toro vs. Psycho Clown, Omos vs. Damian Priest vs. Galeno.
Mysterio saves the best for last: the fourth qualifier is happening right now.
Triple Threat Verano de Escándalo – Qualifying Match: El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. vs. Abismo Negro vs. Texano Jr.
– Wager Jr. lands a “Wagner Driver” on Abismo, followed by a pinfall.
La Hiedra and Laredo Kid meet Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana backstage. Hiedra says that this time, with the right partner by her side, she will earn a shot at the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship. After the challengers leave, Lola teases Iguana, saying La Hiedra is still in love with him.
Next, footage sent in by an anonymous source shows a Psycho Circus meeting. Back in the arena, Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana join the commentary team for the next match.
AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship – #1 Contender’s Match: Faby Apache & Joaquin Wilde vs. La Hiedra & Laredo Kid
– Hiedra lands a “Stunner” on Apache, followed by a pinfall.
ey Mysterio returns for another press conference. The General Manager says he is surprised by Dominik Mysterio’s challenge to Los Perros del Mal before going over the official card for Verano de Escándalo.
Asked about Octagón Jr., Rey confirms that he suffered a neck injury and still has a long recovery ahead of him. He adds that AAA’s doors will be open whenever Octagón is ready to return.
Los Perros del Mal then head to the ring. Daga says the stable is back because AAA has been overrun by weak wrestlers who expect everything to be handed to them. He introduces Angel, Berto, Bronco Nima and Karmen Petrovic as the new pack. Daga also says he was the last man Hijo del Perro Aguayo trusted.
Daga says the group did not come to ask for opportunities, but to turn the locker room into a nightmare. He then accepts Dominik’s challenge for Verano de Escándalo.
Dominik Mysterio appears on the entrance ramp alongside El Grande Americano. Daga and the rest of Los Perros del Mal also spot Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano at the commentary desk. All four men rush the ring and start a huge brawl with Los Perros del Mal.
The show goes off the air amid chaos throughout the arena.
