Add as a preferred source on Google Andrea Bazarte is officially back with Lucha Libre AAA. During this Saturday’s episode, July 18, Rey Mysterio offered the interviewer a new contract, ending her time away from AAA programming.
Bazarte had been forced to leave the company back in May, during the contract signing for the Mask vs. Mask Match between El Grande Americano and Original El Grande Americano. Her firing was a demand from the masked wrestler after she slapped him to stop him from continuing to intimidate a blind comedian.
At the time, Bazarte accepted the condition so El Grande Americano could sign the contract and lock in the match. The feud ended at Noche de Los Grandes on May 30, when Original El Grande Americano was defeated and lost his mask.
Last week, Rey Mysterio had already invited Bazarte to return to AAA, saying the two had a lot of business to sort out. The meeting ended with the offer of a new contract, putting her back on the company’s programming.

Damian Priest Will Compete for the AAA Latin American Championship
Mysterio also confirmed Damian Priest as one of the names in the running for the vacant AAA Latin American Championship.
The title was left vacant after El Hijo del Vikingo suffered a serious knee injury. Dorian Roldán tried to hand the belt directly to Omos, but Mysterio overturned the decision and threatened to suspend the giant if he didn’t return the title.
Priest arrived in AAA on the July 4 episode, when he was introduced by Mysterio and said he planned to win titles in the company.
