Andrade El Idolo praised PAC after defeating him Saturday night at AEW All Out. With the win at the NOW Arena, Andrade retained the AEW National Championship in his fifth successful title defense.
The match opened the pay-per-view’s main card, and Marina Shafir interfered several times on PAC’s behalf. At the finish, PAC locked in the Brutalizer, but Andrade countered the submission into a pinfall to keep the title.
Andrade addressed PAC’s future in AEW directly in a post on his official X account. PAC, he wrote, “has to be a world champion in the future, but he needs to leave the Death Riders, just like I left Don Callis!”
Andrade closed the post with “2-1,” a reference to his head-to-head singles record against PAC in AEW. Before All Out, the two had split two matches on Rampage in 2021.
The current feud began to gather momentum on the September 19 episode of Collision. Andrade defeated Daniel Garcia that night for his fourth successful defense of the National Championship, but the Death Riders attacked him shortly afterward. PAC then appeared and challenged Andrade to a match at All Out.
The comparison Andrade drew ties directly to his own recent career path. He left the Don Callis Family at Forbidden Door and, less than a month later, beat Mark Davis at Redemption to win the National Championship.
Andrade also won the Men’s Casino Gauntlet Match at All In: London and currently holds a contract guaranteeing him a future shot at the AEW World Championship.
