Bronson Reed’s WWE return appears to be right around the corner. The big man visited the company’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut this week, right as fresh reports about his recovery started to surface.
Reed posted a video of himself arriving at WWE HQ but didn’t reveal the reason for his visit.
“It can’t always be LA or Miami, someone has to hold it down in Stamford, CT.”
The visit came just days after Reed’s name began circulating internally again, including within the merchandise department. According to reports, that’s being viewed as a strong sign that WWE is already laying the groundwork for his return.

7:54 AM · Aug 21, 2026Backstage expectations for the comeback are running high. Reed is expected to return as a heel and be positioned at the main event level, with a potential feud against Oba Femi reportedly being discussed for later this year.
The return could come soon. As previously reported, Reed is “very close” to being cleared, and some within WWE believe he could resurface as early as Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6.
Reed has been on the shelf since the February 23 episode of Monday Night RAW, when he suffered a distal biceps tear in his right arm during an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano. He was subsequently sent to Birmingham, Alabama for surgery.
At the time of the injury, Reed had been slated to win that match and was factored into WWE’s WrestleMania 42 plans, but the injury forced the company to change course.
