Bayley is back in the ring, just a week after a brutal attack from Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The former WWE Women’s Champion competed at the live event held Saturday, July 25, at Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, California. Bayley faced Valkyria and Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca in a triple threat match for the title.

Ruca held onto the title by landing the Sol Snatcher on Valkyria and picking up the pinfall. Bayley avoided the deciding loss, and WWE extended the feud between the two former allies in the process.

The appearance came exactly seven days after Valkyria beat Bayley at Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden. That night, Valkyria left her former mentor unconscious with a submission hold, then attacked her again after the bell, throwing her into the ring post and the steel steps.

The following Monday on RAW, Valkyria claimed she had eliminated “dead weight” and run Bayley out of WWE, fueling speculation that the attack was meant to write Bayley off television.

Bayley’s contractual future is adding to the intrigue. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter’s Dave Meltzer has reported that Bayley’s current deal expires later in 2026, and that WWE has already made Bayley an offer to stay. AEW is also expected to show interest if she becomes available.

The Stockton appearance confirms Bayley remains on WWE’s regular schedule, but it isn’t a sign of a new contract.
