Blake Monroe Finally Makes WWE SmackDown In-Ring Debut

Blake Monroe finally made her official SmackDown in-ring debut on Friday night, defeating Giulia at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.

The finish came when Giulia tried to bring Monroe up to the top rope, only for Monroe to escape and send her face-first into the turnbuckle. With Giulia down, Monroe capitalized and pinned her for the win.

After the match, the referee immediately checked on Giulia. She remained unresponsive for a few moments, so WWE medical personnel were called to the ring.

The victory ended a long wait for Monroe’s official in-ring debut. WWE had confirmed her call-up to SmackDown after WrestleMania 42, but months went by before she wrestled her first televised match for the brand.

Monroe’s feud with Giulia began to heat up on June 26, when she attacked Giulia after her win over Kiana James.

The two were set to face each other for the first time on August 21, but Monroe attacked Giulia before the bell and hit her with the Neutralizer. As a result, the match never officially began.

A second attempt at the match came on September 4. This time, Giulia attacked Monroe before the match and caught her flush in the mouth with an Arrivederci Knee. Monroe later revealed that she had lost teeth in the attack.
