Nick Aldis has confirmed a key match for the next episode of WWE SmackDown. Blake Monroe will face Giulia on Friday, October 2, at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado.
The match came together after Giulia lost to Lash Legend in a Triple Threat Match that also featured Charlotte Flair, with a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on the line.
Backstage, Monroe taunted Giulia about the loss. Giulia responded by slapping Monroe in the face, and the two started a major brawl that officials and Aldis himself broke up. The SmackDown General Manager then booked the match for next week and promised that this time it will actually happen.
That is because this will be WWE’s third attempt at Blake Monroe vs. Giulia.

Monroe was originally scheduled to make her official SmackDown in-ring debut against Giulia on August 21. Instead, she attacked Giulia before the match started. Two weeks later, on September 4, the match was booked again, but Giulia struck first, hitting Monroe with an Arrivederci Knee to the face before the bell.
The feud between the two began in June, when Monroe attacked Giulia following Giulia’s win over Kiana James. Since then, Monroe, a former NXT Women’s North American Champion, has yet to compete in her first official match on SmackDown.
The October 2 show will also feature the final two Money in the Bank qualifying matches. Cody Rhodes will face Kevin Owens and Johnny Gargano in one, and Tatum Paxley will face Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae in the other.
