Bron Breakker has already established himself among WWE‘s top young stars, but he believes he’s still far from reaching everything he wants in the company.
Speaking with 11Alive, Breakker, one half of the World Tag Team Champions alongside Austin Theory, was asked what legacy he hopes to leave when his career is over.
Breakker said he wants to be remembered as a well-rounded wrestler and one of the greatest athletes in WWE.
“Just someone who was really good, someone who was really well-rounded, someone who was arguably the greatest athlete that works here.”
Despite that confidence, Breakker acknowledged he still has a lot to prove and said he doesn’t look back to celebrate past accomplishments. His focus remains on the goals he hasn’t reached yet.
Breakker, 29, is already a two-time Intercontinental Champion. He also held the NXT Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship before establishing himself on Monday Night Raw.
His next big test comes this Sunday at Sunday Night’s Main Event, where he faces Oba Femi for the first time in a singles match at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, his hometown.
WWE has been billing the match as a contest to determine the company’s true future. Breakker said in the same interview that he sees it as a chance to leave Atlanta as the name that will carry WWE for years to come.
