Bully Ray Says Enzo Amore Is a Better Talker Than 90% of WWE’s Main Roster

Enzo Amore still hasn’t made his way back to WWE despite rumors at one point suggesting otherwise, but he continues to draw strong praise for his ability on the microphone.

On a recent edition of Busted Open, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray said that Enzo currently cuts a better promo than 90% of the talent on WWE’s main roster. Bully also credited the former Cruiserweight Champion for keeping himself relevant on the independent scene and across social media.

“I think Enzo has done a phenomenal job on his own, grinding, humping the indies, doing everything he can to keep his name out there – the use of social media – and as we both know, the guy can talk.”

“And as of right now this very moment where he’s probably in Asbury Park or Hoboken, New Jersey, he’s a better talker right now – with only social media exposure – than 90% of the guys on the main roster.”

This isn’t the first time Bully Ray has advocated for Enzo’s return to WWE. Back in July, before Big Cass made his comeback, Bully said he hoped to see the former partners together again and even suggested the tag team division could benefit from a reunion.

In May, Fightful Select reported that WWE had interest in bringing Enzo and Cass back together. Some independent promoters even believed Enzo was scaling back his schedule specifically to set up a return to the company.

Big Cass ultimately came back on his own on August 3. This week, he defeated Je’Von Evans in his first official WWE match in more than eight years.

Enzo’s status, meanwhile, remains up in the air with no further signs of a return.
