WWE may be adding a major six-woman tag team match to Sunday Night’s Main Event, scheduled for September 6 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to TRNBCKL Gold, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley vs. Jade Cargill, Michin and B-Fab is currently being discussed for the card.
The match would build on recent SmackDown storylines. Paxley made her main roster debut on August 7, coming to Flair’s aid during her match against Cargill. Bliss also returned that same night, while Michin and B-Fab attempted to interfere on behalf of Cargill.
Two weeks later on August 21, all six women had a backstage confrontation. Michin challenged Paxley to a match on the August 28 SmackDown, and Paxley accepted on the spot.
A nearly identical version of this match already took place in May, with Rhea Ripley in the spot Paxley would now fill alongside Flair and Bliss. Cargill, Michin and B-Fab won that bout at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
There had also been earlier talk of Flair, Bliss and Paxley facing Fatal Influence at the Atlanta show.
Sunday Night’s Main Event already has Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton and Oba Femi vs. Bron Breakker confirmed. Baron Corbin vs. Lil Yachty is also set for the card.
