The case involving Cuatrero and Stephanie Vaquer had a new development this Tuesday, May 12, in Mexico.
According to RECORD, Rogelio “N,” the real name of the former AAA wrestler, was sentenced to 12 years and 8 months in prison for attempted femicide and domestic violence against Vaquer, his former partner. The information was also confirmed by Reforma and Latinus.
The hearing took place in Mexico City, just days after a judge found Cuatrero guilty. The sentence covers the events from March 2023, when the case started gaining major attention both inside and outside of lucha libre.
It’s worth pointing out that the time Cuatrero spent in pretrial detention between 2023 and 2025 will be deducted from his sentence. The wrestler had been released from prison in March 2025 after obtaining a legal injunction but continued to face the charges while free.
A esa cantidad de años habría que restarle los dos que ya estuvo en prisión, por lo que si busca una reducción de pena por buena conducta, pasaría tras las rejas poco más de 4 años.

Del lado de la chilena se espera apelación
However, the situation could still see further developments. According to RECORD, Vaquer’s legal team does not consider the punishment sufficient and is weighing an appeal to try to increase the sentence.
It remains to be seen what the next step in the case will be, as the sentence has been handed down, but the legal battle could still continue in Mexican courts.
