Stephanie Vaquer may be close to returning to WWE programming, but that is not expected to happen on tonight’s Monday Night RAW in Greensboro, North Carolina.

According to PWInsider, there were internal discussions last week about a possible Vaquer appearance on the May 18 show. However, the latest update indicates there is no sign that the former Women’s World Champion is in town for the show.

The report also states that the current expectation is for Vaquer to get involved with WWE programming again by Clash in Italy weekend. The event is set for May 31 at Inalpi Arena in Turin.

Clash in Italy will be WWE’s first Premium Live Event in Italy, and the company itself is already advertising Vaquer among the names scheduled for Turin, though with the usual note that the card is subject to change.

Vaquer has been off television since being attacked by The Judgment Day on RAW in late April. At the time, Michael Cole announced that she had suffered a grade two sprain of the AC joint in her shoulder, explaining her absence from TV.

The injury also disrupted plans for a rematch against Liv Morgan, who defeated Vaquer at WrestleMania 42 to win the Women’s World Championship. Morgan remains tied to The Judgment Day, especially Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez.

Because of that, the expectation is that WWE will save Vaquer’s return for a moment closer to Clash in Italy.
