Danhausen can already be considered one of WWE’s biggest recent success stories. In just over two months with the company, the former AEW talent has become a nearly unlikely commercial phenomenon.
According to PWInsider, Nick Khan and Paul “Triple H” Levesque praised Danhausen during a WWE Town Hall held today with company employees. During the meeting, both showed videos of Danhausen and highlighted how quickly he has connected with the audience.
The most impressive figure, though, comes from merchandise sales. Danhausen is currently WWE’s No. 2 merch seller, behind only one name on the roster. Three of his T-shirts are also among the company’s five best-selling products.

His rise stands out even more because his debut at Elimination Chamber in February received a very negative initial reaction. Since then, however, WWE has turned the character into a regular part of its shows, including appearances at WrestleMania 42, Backlash, and segments tied to ESPN and the New York Knicks.
At WrestleMania 42, Danhausen took part in a segment with John Cena, The Miz, and Kit Wilson after Cena announced the official attendance for Night Two. Just days earlier on SmackDown, he defeated Wilson in his first WWE match.
It is also worth remembering that Fanatics, WWE’s merchandise partner, had already been surprised by the demand for Danhausen products during WrestleMania weekend, needing to restock items several times.
