Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay’s AEW All In: London main event has received one of the highest match ratings in the history of Dave Meltzer’s star system.
In Friday’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer awarded 6.5 stars to Ospreay’s victory over Omega for the AEW World Championship on August 30 at Wembley Stadium in London.
He hailed the contest as probably the second-best he has ever seen, praising the entire presentation, from the elaborate entrances through the post-match angle, as one of the finest spectacles in pro wrestling history.
The rating eclipses both of their previous encounters. Their clash at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January 2023 received 6.25 stars, while their Forbidden Door rematch later that year earned six stars.
Mercedes Moné and Willow Nightingale also hit the traditional five-star maximum. In total, seven of the 13 matches on the All In card garnered four stars or higher.
