Drew McIntyre has been confirmed for the cast of Hexed, Disney’s new animated film, which opens in theaters in November. He will appear in the film alongside Pat McAfee, another name familiar to wrestling fans.
In a statement released Monday along with the film’s official trailer, Disney listed McIntyre in the voice cast under the name Drew Galloway, but the company has not yet revealed which character he will voice.
McAfee was also among the names announced for cameo roles.
Henry Winkler will voice Nigel, a bird who knows secrets about the magical world, and Dan Stevens will voice Hieronymous, an adviser to Jodie Foster’s Queen Celeste. The cast also includes Hailee Steinfeld, Rashida Jones, Walton Goggins and Stephen Fry.
The film follows Billie Doe, a teenager who discovers she has magical powers and is transported to Hexe, a world inhabited by witches. With her mother, Alice, Billie has to unravel family secrets.
The film is scheduled to open in the U.S. on November 25, during Thanksgiving week. Jared Bush and Dana Ledoux Miller wrote the screenplay.
Hexed will not be McIntyre’s first Hollywood project. He made his film debut in 2024 in The Killer’s Game, appearing alongside Dave Bautista as Rory Mackenzie, a hit man hired to take out the main character.
