Drew McIntyre once again harshly criticized CM Punk, comparing his longtime rival in WWE to Charles Manson.
In an interview with Stephanie McMahon on What’s Your Story? With Steph McMahon, McIntyre said that Punk can manipulate fans’ opinions through his words.
“He’s a terrible human being. I know he’s Charles Manson-like. I know he just woos you all with his words, but trust the guy who’s always been there for you.”
McIntyre also once again mentioned his education in criminology to support the accusations against Punk.
“Beyond reasonable doubt. He’s guilty. Piece of crap.”
The issue involving fan support is directly linked to the rivalry in which both played leading roles in 2024.
In another interview on RAWTALK this week, McIntyre said that he avoids Punk whenever possible outside the ring. Despite that, he acknowledged that both can work professionally and that their personal differences contributed to the success of the rivalry in WWE.
The two last faced each other at Bad Blood in October 2024, when Punk defeated McIntyre in a Hell in a Cell Match.
