Paige made no secret of her displeasure with Jessika Carr after she and Brie Bella lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

At the July 18, 2026, special at Madison Square Garden, Paige and Bella were defeated by Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid of Fatal Influence, ending the duo’s first reign with the titles.

The finish came when Paige caught Reid with a roll-up and appeared to have the match won. Jacy Jayne, however, showed up on the outside and shoved the then-champion, allowing Reid to reverse the pin and get the three-count. Carr missed the interference and confirmed the win for Fatal Influence.

On her official X account, Paige initially apologized to fans for the title loss:

“Well shit… sorry you guys ❤️”

Shortly after, the Anti-Diva posted another message agreeing with Becky Lynch’s ongoing accusations against Carr:

“Also.. Becky was right about that ref.”

Lynch has been critical of Carr since 2025, blaming the referee for a number of unfavorable results. Carr has officiated matches in which Lynch lost by submission, countout and disqualification, leading the former champion to publicly accuse her of bias.

Lainey Reid didn’t take long to respond to Paige’s complaint, poking fun at the situation and offering a very different take on the referee:

“I personally love her tbh.”

Paige and Bella held the titles for 91 days and made four successful defenses before the loss. For Henley and Reid, it’s their first WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship win, and also Fatal Influence’s first title on the main roster.
