Sol Ruca is enjoying the biggest moment of her short WWE main roster run. After defeating Becky Lynch at Clash in Italy to win the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Ruca has already named what she wants as her next major challenge.
In an interview with Elz the Witch, Ruca said that after getting her dream match with IYO SKY, she now wants to face Charlotte Flair in a singles match.
“Now I’ve had my dream match with IYO SKY, I would love to have more with her, now I want to go against Charlotte Flair one-on-one. I know we’re on different brands as of right now. I’ve seen her in the ring a few times, in tag matches, in other multi-person matches, but we’ve never had that one-on-one moment. I think that is my next challenge I want to do.”
Ruca’s comments came just days after she defeated Lynch in Turin, Italy, countering a Man-handle Slam into the Sol Snatcher to score the pinfall and win her first main roster title.

Ruca was officially added to Monday Night RAW on May 4, while Flair continues to appear on Friday Night SmackDown, where she is involved in the rivalry between Rhea Ripley, Alexa Bliss, and Jade Cargill.
Charlotte remains one of the most decorated women in WWE history, with title reigns as WWE Women’s Champion, SmackDown Women’s Champion, RAW Women’s Champion, and NXT Women’s Champion, along with Royal Rumble wins in 2020 and 2025.
So far, WWE has not indicated any plans for that match. Still, Ruca’s comments make it clear that the current champion is already targeting even bigger names in the women’s division.
