WWE has confirmed a loaded lineup for this Friday’s SmackDown, airing live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 14. The show broadcasts on the USA Network starting at 8 PM ET.
On the championship front, Baron Corbin will defend the United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes in Hayes’ hometown. Corbin captured the title at SummerSlam and successfully retained against Trick Williams last week. After that match, Hayes jumped Corbin backstage and secured his title shot with Nick Aldis.
Tiffany Stratton will also put the Women’s United States Championship on the line against Jacy Jayne. The match was set after Stratton offered a title opportunity in exchange for Chelsea Green and her taking on Fatal Influence for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship last week.
In tag team action, Wepa Up, the team of Damian Priest and R-Truth, will defend the WWE Tag Team Championship in a Triple Threat Match against The War Raiders and MFT.

10:30 PM · Aug 8, 2026Beyond the in-ring action, CM Punk and Kevin Owens will come face to face one week before their Undisputed WWE Championship match, set for August 21 in Toronto.
Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton are also set for a segment following last week’s heated verbal confrontation, where Orton backed off before things got physical with the American Nightmare.
Rounding out the card, Paige, who returned to WWE at WrestleMania 42 and captured the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Brie Bella, has been announced for the show. Her appearance follows Nikki and Brie Bella turning on her at SummerSlam, kicking off a new rivalry.
