Nikki Bella, Brie Bella and Paige dropped a six-woman tag to Fatal Influence — WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid, along with Jacy Jayne.
Jayne got the pin on Paige with the Rolling Encore, but the finish became an afterthought the moment the bell rang.
As Paige pulled herself up, Nikki and Brie jumped her from behind. Nikki planted the former Divas Champion with the Rack Attack 2.0, and the twins soaked up the boos while making it clear the Bellas were back on their own.

The attack blew up the trio that came together at WrestleMania 42, where Paige stepped in for an injured Nikki and won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles alongside Brie in a Fatal Four-Way. Brie and Paige later dropped the belts to Henley and Reid at Saturday Night’s Main Event following a Jayne assist, and Nikki returned on the July 24 SmackDown to make the SummerSlam match.
The turn wasn’t out of nowhere. In April, Nikki said she had been pitching to work heel again, a role she feels gets her strongest reactions. Days out from SummerSlam, she also said she plans to retire by the end of 2027 and wants to close out her run on her own terms.
The angle also calls back to 2015, when the Bellas beat Paige down two-on-one before she teamed with AJ Lee to go over the twins at WrestleMania 31.
