Her response came as fan backlash continues to build over Giulia’s booking in recent weeks. She has faced heavy criticism online after losing key matches and going through a stretch of results that many consider unexpected for a talent of her international stature.
On the August 21 SmackDown, Giulia was scheduled to face Blake Monroe in what would have been Monroe’s in-ring debut on the blue brand. The match never took place, as Monroe jumped Giulia with a vicious beatdown before the bell.
Before the SmackDown incident, Giulia had already been at the center of another controversy. On WWE Main Event, the former Women’s United States Champion lost to Michin after interference from B-Fab, a result that drew heavy backlash on social media given her position in the company.
Giulia arrived in WWE with significant buzz after a standout run in Japanese wrestling. Since joining the company, she has captured the NXT Women’s Championship and held the Women’s United States Championship twice.
