Another major match has been added to WWE NXT Heatwave. Jaida Parker and Nattie will square off again, this time in a Submission Match, on Sunday, August 30.
The match was announced during this week’s episode of WWE NXT. Nattie came to the ring and acknowledged Parker’s potential but called her a wasted talent. Parker interrupted and made it clear she doesn’t need Nattie’s help.
Nattie then said she had no interest in another standard match and challenged Parker to a Submission Match at Heatwave. Parker accepted on the spot.
The two have already met twice in recent months. On June 16, Nattie defeated Parker by submission with the Sharpshooter.
Parker won their second encounter on July 21, using Nattie’s own Sharpshooter to get the victory. The finish was controversial, though, as Thea Hail threw the towel into the ring on Nattie’s behalf, prompting the referee to stop the match.
The rivalry carried over into last week’s show, where Nattie submitted Thea Hail with the Sharpshooter. With the series tied at one win apiece, the Submission Match at Heatwave should serve as the definitive tiebreaker between Nattie and Parker.
