Je’Von Evans, who has been getting more spotlight on WWE programming, revealed some of the major names who have been helping him backstage.

In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo during Clash in Italy weekend, the “Young OG” said he often asks several WWE veterans for advice, especially those with more main roster experience.

“A lot of people. I ask everybody like, ‘Hey, if you see something, let me know,’ especially if they have a lot of experience here on main roster,” Evans said. “But right now, of course Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, CM Punk, and John Cena. Those are like my OGs — of course Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. They all look out for me. Those are the people that help me out the most, they look out for me. And Papa Shawn.”

Evans’ relationship with important WWE names is nothing new. Before WrestleMania 42, he had already named Randy Orton, John Cena and Shawn Michaels as key figures in helping him adjust.

Orton, for his part, has publicly spoken about the guidance he tries to pass along to the young wrestler.

Evans is coming off a loss to Penta in an Intercontinental Championship match on the May 25 episode of Monday Night RAW. Despite the result, the match ended with a show of respect between both men, and Evans himself made it clear backstage that he intends to get back into the title picture.

Evans also has another major challenge ahead. WWE confirmed that he will face Seth Rollins, Talla Tonga and Ricky Saints in the first round of the King of the Ring.
