Joe Hendry is ready to chase his first title on WWE’s main roster. On Monday’s episode of WWE Raw from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, the Scottish star revealed that his next goal is the Intercontinental Championship.

The statement came shortly after The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory) defeated The Street Profits to regain the World Tag Team Championship with help from Maxxine Dupri.

In an interview with Byron Saxton, Hendry said there are three inevitable realities: death, taxes, and The Vision doing whatever it takes to win. He also said he was shocked by Maxxine’s actions.

When asked when he would finally win gold in WWE, Hendry pointed out that he pinned Theory last week and has already gotten inside Logan Paul’s head. He then sang his song about “The Maverick” again.

Hendry then made it clear that he has been a champion everywhere he has been and said he wants the Intercontinental Championship. The title is currently held by Penta, who has been defending the belt against some of the biggest names in the division.

WWE has already announced a Gauntlet Match for next week’s show featuring Joe Hendry, Chad Gable, Je’Von Evans, Dragon Lee, Ethan Page, Rusev, and Dominik Mysterio. The winner will earn an opportunity at the Intercontinental Championship.

With that, Hendry now appears to be putting his issues with Austin Theory and Logan Paul aside to target something bigger on the red brand.
