La Catalina is expected at the WWE Performance Center this week, Mike Johnson reported at PWInsider on Saturday.
There is no word yet on whether that leads to an NXT appearance.
The Chilean star is no stranger to WWE. Catalina Garcia was part of the August 2019 Performance Center recruiting class alongside Austin Theory and later appeared on Raw as Carolina, accompanying Sin Cara during his feud with Andrade and Zelina Vega. Her first stint ended in November 2021, when she was released under the name Katrina Cortez.
Catalina landed in AAA on April 11, crashing Flammer’s celebration and inserting herself into the Reina de Reinas Championship picture. Her in-ring debut for the promotion aired May 9, a win over Jessy Jackson.
She has since become a regular in AAA’s women’s division. This Saturday, Catalina is advertised to face Flammer and Lady Shani in a Triple Threat Match for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship at Verano de Escándalo.
