Lola Vice said goodbye to WWE NXT following Tuesday’s show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The former NXT Women’s Champion remained in the ring after losing to Kendal Grey in the main event, an NXT Underground Match for the title. Before beginning her speech, Damian Priest made a surprise appearance, coming out to embrace Vice in front of the crowd.
Vice left her gloves in the center of the ring and began by acknowledging Grey’s victory:
“Adios, NXT. Kendal Grey tapped me out. She’s the future. She’s incredible.”
Vice also reflected on her four years in WWE‘s developmental system, admitting there were times when she questioned whether leaving MMA had been the right decision.
“I’m so proud of what I was able to do in NXT. I’ve been here four years. I took a leap of faith. Sometimes I didn’t think it was for me. I struggled a lot. But I always believed in myself and all of you. Every Tuesday inspired me to keep going and represent us Latinos.”

2:25 AM · Aug 5, 2026The loss to Grey also ended Vice’s undefeated streak in NXT Underground Matches. She entered the match with four wins, including victories over Natalya and Shayna Baszler, but ultimately tapped out after being caught in an armbar.
Vice came close to winning when she choked Grey out, but the referee had been taken out and couldn’t stop the match. Wren Sinclair helped Grey recover, opening the door for her comeback and the finish.
Vice won the NXT Women’s Championship at Stand & Deliver on April 4 by defeating Jacy Jayne and Kendal Grey. Her reign lasted 85 days before she lost to Grey at Great American Bash on June 28. She also held the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship alongside Mr. Iguana.
As previously reported, Vice is expected to be promoted to Friday Night SmackDown.
