WWE announced four matches for next week’s episode of NXT, airing live Tuesday, Aug. 11, from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The main event will be a No. 1 contender’s match for the NXT Championship between Grayson Waller and Cruz Montana, with the winner going on to challenge Tony D’Angelo for the title at NXT Heatwave on Aug. 30.

Waller returned to NXT on July 28 with a scathing promo targeting the men’s roster, making it clear he intends to win the top title. That same night, Montana made his first appearance as an official member of the roster and tried to hit Waller with Spin the Block in the ensuing chaos, but accidentally struck D’Angelo instead. This week, D’Angelo himself asked Robert Stone to make the title match official.

In the women’s division, Zaria will defend the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Wren Sinclair. The two faced off Tuesday for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship, but the match ended in a time-limit draw, with Sinclair retaining the title. Zaria attacked her with an F-5 after the bell.

Elsewhere on the card, Niko Vance and Izzi Dame will face Shawn Spears and Lizzy Rain. Rain defeated Dame on July 28 after Spears showed up with a chair and stopped Vance from interfering. That came one week after Spears had already beaten his former protégé by disqualification, using a low blow, borrowing a page from Eddie Guerrero.

Rounding out the card, Dion Lennox will face Saquon Shugars in a rematch from NXT Great American Bash. Shugars won their first meeting on June 28 but was brutally attacked by DarkState immediately afterward. The rematch is proof the feud between Lennox and the group’s former member is far from over.
