Add as a preferred source on Google WWE has announced a new title match for this Monday’s episode of Monday Night RAW, which takes place at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Penta will put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Je’Von Evans just days before Clash in Italy, WWE’s next premium live event.
The match continues Evans’ recent involvement in the multi-man chase for the title. On the post-WrestleMania 42 episode of RAW, the young star was defeated by Ethan Page in a No. 1 Contender’s Match after interference from Rusev.
Penta and Evans have also been on the same side in recent weeks. On the May 4 episode of RAW, the two were defeated by Ethan Page and Rusev in a tag team match, keeping the rivalry around the Intercontinental Championship alive.
Along with the title match, tonight’s RAW will feature Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu signing the contract for their Tribal Combat match at Clash in Italy, as well as Oba Femi addressing Brock Lesnar’s return and his challenge for the event.
