Add as a preferred source on Google Netflix released the latest teaser for the third season of WWE: Unreal on Monday, with the new season set to premiere worldwide on July 21, 2026.
The video shows what happened away from the microphones during the face-off between John Cena and CM Punk on the June 27, 2025, episode of SmackDown, one day before their match for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions.
That night, Punk appeared as the Doctor of Thuganomics and delivered his own version of “Basic Thuganomics,” using a rap to take aim at Cena.

The third season will run five episodes of roughly 50 minutes each. Beyond Cena’s farewell, the show will follow creative decisions, injuries, and last-minute changes on the road to WrestleMania 42.
CM Punk, AJ Lee, Cody Rhodes, Liv Morgan, Oba Femi, Bron Breakker, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and Matt Cardona are among the names confirmed for the season.
Netflix is looking to win back some of the audience it lost between the first two seasons. Season 2 recorded 2.8 million views and 13.4 million hours watched in the first half of 2026, down from the 4.9 million views the show’s debut season pulled in.
