Paige has responded on social media to a fairly unusual critique. She returned to WWE at WrestleMania 42 and recently became an official member of the SmackDown roster.
The online exchange began after Friday’s SmackDown on September 25, when Paige teamed with Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton to face Fatal Influence. On X, Paige joked that her entrance had looked great but had come during a commercial break on USA Network.
Her post read, “Trust me, my entrance was superrrr cool, just that damn commercial break got in the way..”
Shortly afterward, a fan wrote on X that Paige had been wearing the same ring gear since WrestleMania 42.
The fan wrote, “Paige has had the same gear since Mania, really… right? Can we get this girl dressed in something else? Also, her entrance was on commercial, so Nikki’s costing her.”
Paige replied with several photos showing the different looks she has worn since her WWE return. She also questioned the expectations placed on women wrestlers when it comes to their gear.
She wrote, “Bobby please.. lol here’s some pics of all my gears since I’ve been back.. but also, what is this obsession with telling the girls they have to change their gear every single week?..”
Paige is currently feuding with Nikki Bella. The Bella Twins attacked Paige after the match against Fatal Influence at SummerSlam, and Nikki also scored a controversial win over her on the September 11 episode of SmackDown.
