Penta Breaks His Silence After Losing to Roman Reigns on WWE RAW

Penta still has his sights set on the top of WWE, making that clear after coming up short against Roman Reigns.

Speaking backstage after his match on Monday, Penta discussed what’s next for his career:

“One day, I will become a World Heavyweight Champion.”

Penta challenged Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of Monday’s RAW in Mexico City on September 14. After a series of near falls, Reigns caught Penta in midair with a Superman Punch, then followed up with a Spear to score the pin and retain the title.

Penta earned his shot by winning the tournament to determine Reigns’ challenger for the show in Mexico. After beating Laredo Kid and La Parka, he defeated Rey Fénix in the final on the August 31 episode of RAW.

Penta’s post-match comments echoed a goal he had already shared publicly. Speaking with Denise Salcedo in June, he said he wanted to become a world champion during his WWE run, though he did not know when or how it would happen.
