Mick Foley may be very close to returning to the ring for one final match.

According to Fightful Select and WrestleVotes, people within AEW believe Foley has already made his decision and intends to have his last match in company. The exact form of the bout, however, has not been decided.

Tony Khan is reportedly very interested in making the match happen, regardless of the format. The idea could involve a traditional match, a tag team match, or even something more cinematic, specifically to protect the WWE Hall of Famer’s physical condition.

Foley recently admitted in an interview with Ariel Helwani that the possibility of wrestling again has started crossing his mind. The hardcore legend noted that he has lost around 100 pounds, feels much better physically, and believes he has one more good match left in him, as long as the bout avoids any head trauma.

Foley made his AEW debut at Double or Nothing, appearing on the Buy-In alongside Renee Paquette. Later that night, he had a segment with MJF and Darby Allin before their AEW World Championship main event.

Because of that, MJF naturally stands out as one of the most likely names for a possible match. Another possibility would be Foley teaming with Darby Allin in a tag team match.

As of now, AEW has not officially announced any match involving Foley.
