Mick Foley, who made his official AEW debut at Double or Nothing, still does not have a fully defined role in Tony Khan’s company.

During a recent appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Foley said he intends to serve as a kind of “Swiss Army Knife” for AEW, working wherever he can be most useful.

The WWE Hall of Famer mentioned the possibility of hosting shows alongside Renee Paquette, doing publicity work and, most notably, taking on a manager role.

“I think my role is to be the Swiss Army Knife of AEW, to where I work in wherever I can and wherever they need me best. There are quite a few things I can do. I can host the shows with Renee, she is so much fun to work with. I think I can do a good job on publicity, being sent out a day or two early to get some publicity. I believe I could take on a managerial role for a handful of misfit babyfaces or heels, and take some of the guys in the middle of the card and give them a little boost up closer to the top.”

Foley’s arrival in AEW came on the Double or Nothing Buy In, ahead of the pay-per-view at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York City.

Foley is expected to continue appearing on AEW programming in non-wrestling roles.
