Mick Foley has officially been added to the “Broadcast Team” section of AEW’s roster, just days after making his debut at Double or Nothing.

On the company’s official website, the WWE Hall of Famer is now listed alongside names such as Renee Paquette, Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness and Bryan Danielson.

Foley’s appearance had been announced by Tony Khan on May 20. At the time, AEW confirmed that he would join Paquette on the Double or Nothing Buy In, which streamed for free on AEW’s YouTube channel and HBO Max before the pay-per-view.

During the pre-show, Foley became directly involved in one of the event’s main rivalries. He entered the ring at Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York, spoke about his arrival in AEW, and was confronted by MJF, who hit him with a low blow before Darby Allin came out.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Foley is expected to be a regular presence on AEW programming, though he missed this week’s Dynamite in Philadelphia due to a commitment he had made before reaching his deal with the company.

It remains unclear what Foley’s weekly role will be. However, his addition to the official roster indicates that his Double or Nothing appearance was not just a one-off cameo.
