Jordynne Grace has been largely absent from WWE television despite being healthy and available to work Friday Night SmackDown.
According to WrestleVotes, the former TNA Knockouts World Champion’s extended absence from TV does not signal a loss of interest from WWE. The real issue is a lack of available programming time, particularly since SmackDown reverted to a two-hour format.
The change took effect starting with the July 3 episode. Prior to that, the show had been running three hours, which left room for additional tag team matches and multi-woman bouts.
On top of that, top acts like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and Randy Orton are eating up a significant chunk of the blue brand’s weekly airtime. With only two hours to fill, the women’s division has been one of the hardest-hit areas.
Grace is simply caught in a “numbers game” on SmackDown. The show was reduced from three hours to two, leaving less time for Women’s matches and storylines.

12:11 AM · Aug 11, 2026Grace hasn’t wrestled on SmackDown since April 17, when she lost to Tiffany Stratton in a #1 Contender’s Match for the Women’s United States Championship. Her absence comes despite WWE having previously mapped out a Triple Threat at WrestleMania 42 featuring Grace, Stratton, and Giulia, a plan that fell apart after the Juggernaut suffered an ankle injury.
Back in July, Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that Grace was still showing up to certain tapings but that creative had nothing lined up for her. At that point, even her appearances on WWE Main Event had dried up.
As of now, there is no indication that Grace is dealing with an injury or any kind of leave of absence.
