Roman Reigns is closing in on a major milestone in his long WWE career.
The World Heavyweight Champion has 1,385 career matches on record. He’s just 15 matches away from an impressive career total of 1,400.
Reigns last wrestled on September 14, when he beat Penta to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. The RAW match in Mexico City was only his sixth of 2026, and he has won all six.
His career total stands out even more when compared with his old schedule.
Reigns’ busiest year was 2015, when he wrestled 213 matches. He had 204 matches in 2013, but has wrestled just 30 times since 2023.
Reigns’ first recorded match was on August 19, 2010, in Florida Championship Wrestling. He wrestled as Roman Leakee in a battle royal with 15 entrants. Alex Riley won the match, which also included Big E, Jey Uso, Xavier Woods and Titus O’Neil.
There’s no clear timetable for Reigns to reach 1,400 matches as he continues to wrestle less often. His next officially announced match is a World Heavyweight Championship defense against LA Knight at Money in the Bank on October 10. The event will take place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
