Sheamus has begun rebuilding his public image after ending a nearly 20-year run with WWE. Over the past few days, the Irish star has stripped WWE references from his social media and posted a farewell message.
On Sunday, the wrestler showed off a new look in an Instagram Story. In the photo, he’s wearing a bandana in the colors of Ireland and sporting a strikingly defined physique, posing in front of the Celtic Warrior Workouts logo. The post had no caption.
The biggest change, though, came in the name on his accounts. Sheamus is now going by “S. Farrelly,” a nod to his real name, Stephen Farrelly. His Instagram profile also switched to the handle “sfarrellyofficial,” while his bio was shortened to “Pro Wrestler.”

As previously reported by Wrestling Noticias, Sheamus was not released. The four-time world champion turned down a restructured extension offered by WWE and chose to let his contract expire. His profile has already been moved to the Alumni section of the company’s website.
Sheamus hasn’t wrestled since November 17, 2025, and underwent shoulder surgery in December. Since his exit is happening through the expiration of his contract, he isn’t expected to be subject to a 90-day non-compete clause.
So far, Farrelly hasn’t announced his next destination. However, there are reports that he’d be open to talking with AEW if he receives an offer he finds interesting.
