Add as a preferred source on Google The Bloodline’s loss at SummerSlam had immediate fallout on Monday’s RAW in Des Moines, Iowa. Jacob Fatu challenged Royce Keys to a Street Fight that will close tonight’s show.
Minutes earlier, Roman Reigns summoned Fatu and The Usos backstage. The World Heavyweight Champion berated the trio for losing to Keys, Solo Sikoa and LA Knight, making it clear he wanted the family to respond.
Reigns also tried to downplay the result during RAW’s opening segment. After Knight challenged him, the OTC said winning a six-man tag did not entitle Knight to a World Heavyweight Championship match and sent him to the back of the line.
On the first night of SummerSlam, Keys took Fatu out of the match with a powerslam onto the timekeeper’s area. Moments later, Sikoa stopped The Usos from hitting the 1-D with a Samoan Spike, allowing Knight to hit the BFT and pin Jey Uso.

The rivalry between Fatu and Keys, however, goes far beyond this past weekend’s result. Both grew up alongside Solo and The Usos in the Bay Area, but Keys was rejected by The Bloodline because he was not considered part of the family.
Things first boiled over on the July 13 RAW. Fatu interrupted Keys’ match against Jimmy Uso, attacked his former friend with a chair and nearly crushed his head in the corner.
With Fatu forced to join The Bloodline after losing Tribal Combat to Reigns, tonight’s Street Fight suggests he will have to answer personally for the group’s failure at SummerSlam.
