Sol Ruca revealed that she was medically cleared on Sunday morning, just hours before WWE Clash in Italy, ending the biggest question surrounding her status for the event.
Ruca is set to challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship in a match still officially advertised by WWE for the premium live event in Turin, Italy. The show is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. ET / 11 a.m. PT, streaming in the United States on the ESPN App with an ESPN Unlimited subscription.
Ruca’s status became a talking point after Lynch claimed on social media that her challenger was not medically cleared to compete. According to Fightful, the champion posted the jab this past Friday, adding more uncertainty over whether the match would take place.

Even so, later reports indicated that Ruca had traveled to Italy and remained scheduled for the show, despite being “banged up” following her match with Lynch at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The match between the two was set up after Ruca defeated Lynch by disqualification at Saturday Night’s Main Event, a result that led Adam Pearce to confirm the rematch, this time with the title on the line.
