Add as a preferred source on Google Sol Ruca will have one of the biggest opportunities of her WWE career this Sunday when she challenges Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Italy.
The premium live event will take place at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy. In the United States, the show will stream on the ESPN App through the ESPN Unlimited plan beginning at 2 p.m. ET, with the first hour also airing on ESPN.
In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Ruca spoke about the moment and how she plans to prove Lynch wrong at Clash in Italy.
“They were all over the place. First of all, I was just excited that I was getting this opportunity and having a moment to be one-on-one in the ring with the crowd and being able to sign the contract. But then, of course, Becky Lynch had to come out and talk about whatever she was talking about. And yeah, it was a bit interesting, but I was just, ‘Okay, I’ll hear her out. We’ll see what this is about.’ But ever since then, she just doesn’t think that I’m deserving of being here or ready to be here. So now I’m just here to prove her wrong and hopefully become the new Intercontinental Champion.”
Along with Lynch vs. Ruca, the Clash in Italy card will also feature Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu in Tribal Combat, Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther, Rhea Ripley vs. Jade Cargill, and Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi.
