Add as a preferred source on Google The Beast Mortos and El Clon are once again cleared to work in the United States, following months away from AEW programming due to work visa issues.
In the most recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer confirmed that both wrestlers have had their visa paperwork approved.

The situation has already led to immediate changes in AEW’s plans. El Clon appeared at the Collision tapings held Wednesday (July 22) in Nashville, Tennessee, where he faced Lio Rush in a qualifying match for the Six-Way Ladder Match at Redemption. That episode airs Saturday (July 25).

Mortos, meanwhile, was placed directly into the Ladder Match at Sunday’s (July 26) pay-per-view in Montreal, Quebec. Jack Perry, Komander and Mike Bailey are also confirmed for the match, with the winner earning a shot at the AEW International Championship, which Kyle Fletcher will defend against Bandido on the same show.
Mortos had been away from the U.S. since the March 18 episode of Collision. During that stretch, he continued wrestling in Mexico and lost the ROH World Tag Team Championship, alongside Sammy Guevara, to Místico and Máscara Dorada at Arena México on June 26. The visa issues had even forced ROH to hold title defenses outside the United States.
El Clon, for his part, hadn’t appeared on an AEW show in the United States since April 22, when he lost to Jack Perry in a match for the AEW National Championship.
