CM Punk and Kevin Owens will meet again on SmackDown in two weeks.
WWE confirmed the match on Friday’s episode after another verbal confrontation between the two.
Nick Aldis brought Punk and Owens together to discuss their feud and announced that the match will take place in Brooklyn, New York. During the conversation, the two traded accusations over which of them kept the other from winning the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Last week, during a backstage segment, Punk had already demanded a match against Owens. Aldis turned down the request at the time and said he needed both men fully recovered before he would approve it.
The match will also be a rematch from the August 21 SmackDown in Toronto, where Punk defeated Owens to retain the title after interference from Sami Zayn.
The match will be taped in advance. WWE will hold a RAW and SmackDown double taping on November 2.
Punk and Owens are among the names the arena is advertising for the taping. The match will air on the November 6 episode of SmackDown.
