Seth Rollins is set to make another in-ring appearance for WWE. The former World Heavyweight Champion is advertised for SmackDown on Friday, October 9, at the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Rollins will team with LA Knight and Solo Sikoa against 946, the stable made up of Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, in a six-man tag team match. However, the six-man tag will take place as a dark match after SmackDown goes off the air on USA Network, so only fans in attendance will see it.
Rollins has been off WWE television since SummerSlam on August 2, when he lost to Roman Reigns in the Night 2 main event.
Despite his absence from TV, Rollins has remained active in the ring. In September, he took part in WWE’s South America tour, where he teamed with Knight and Sikoa in matches against Jacob Fatu and The Usos of The Bloodline.

In a recent interview with ESPN Chicago’s Waddle & Silvy, Rollins said he is enjoying his time away from television and plans to return when he feels the time is right.
As for 946, the faction has been gaining prominence on RAW through its feud with The Bloodline. In September, Keys and his stablemates abducted Sikoa, who missed a Money in the Bank qualifying match as a result.
On Monday’s RAW, Sikoa resurfaced and realigned with Reigns and The Usos to face 946.
