5 Ways WWE Could Bring Seth Rollins Back to TV

Seth Rollins has been off WWE TV since SummerSlam, and there are five intriguing ways WWE could bring him back.

5 Ways WWE Could Bring Seth Rollins Back to TV

Seth Rollins has been off WWE television since losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam in August. Even so, Rollins has returned to action at live events, and WrestleVotes reports that the company is waiting for the right moment to bring him back to TV.

With Money in the Bank approaching and several feuds underway, Rollins’ return could go in five intriguing directions.

5 – Challenge Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship

Sami Zayn won the Undisputed WWE Championship in September, but he is still struggling to earn his opponents’ respect.

Rollins could show up on SmackDown and confront the champion, kicking off a never-before-seen feud over the title. That would let Rollins move on from storylines involving Roman Reigns and The Vision and chase a new goal.

4 – Renew His Rivalry With CM Punk

CM Punk and Rollins had one of the biggest rivalries of 2025. Their feud included a Steel Cage match on Raw and the Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 41.

Punk is booked for Money in the Bank, and if he wins there, WWE could use that victory to set up Rollins’ return. The rivalry is well established and needs little introduction.

3 – Settle the Score With Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman was instrumental in Rollins’ win at WrestleMania 41 but later turned on him, siding with Bron Breakker and The Vision.

Rollins would only need to return during a Heyman promo and launch a surprise attack to reignite that story. It would be more interesting to make Heyman the main target than to go right back to a feud with Breakker.

2 – Cost Bron Breakker the Money in the Bank Ladder Match

Breakker is set to compete in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on Saturday, October 10.

Rollins already beat Breakker in a Steel Cage match at Night of Champions, but their rivalry could still go another round.

One scenario would have Breakker within reach of the briefcase, only for Rollins to appear and cost Breakker the win. It would make for a dramatic return, especially since winning the briefcase could put Breakker back in the world title picture.

1 – Form an Unexpected Alliance Against 946

This may be the most interesting option of all.

Recent live events in South America featured Rollins alongside LA Knight and Solo Sikoa. Rollins was even advertised for a potential dark match at the October 9 SmackDown against 946, the faction made up of Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price.

If WWE carried that partnership over to TV, the storyline would put Rollins squarely in the middle of 946’s feud with The Bloodline.

After so many clashes with former allies, it would be interesting to see Rollins lead a new alliance, this time without turning heel right away.

Above all, the alliance would keep Rollins from having to face Reigns again so soon after SummerSlam.
