According to Fightful Select, WWE has interest in Holliday, and there is an expectation that he could sign soon if that has not already happened.

As of now, WWE has not officially announced the signing. That means the situation should still be treated as a backstage move, especially since the report notes that while nothing is finalized, anything can change.

Holliday is best known for his time in MLW, where he was part of The Dynasty alongside MJF and Alexander Hammerstone. Alongside MJF, he won the MLW World Tag Team Championship in 2019, before the current major AEW name joined Tony Khan’s company.
After leaving MLW, Holliday became active on the independent scene, working for promotions such as GCW, PROGRESS, MLP, and RevPro. He has also been mentioned as one of the more notable names outside the major North American companies.
Another point that stands out is that Holliday reportedly had tryouts with WWE in recent years. His name was also considered by TNA for the Mr. Elegance character before the role went in another direction.
Holliday’s recent career was also marked by his battle with stage four Hodgkin lymphoma, a diagnosis he publicly revealed in 2022. In February 2023, he announced that he had completed treatment before returning to his in-ring career.
